Dress of the week November21st!

Good morning ladies! After taking a long break from blogging I am back! There were a few reasons for my absence  really, life got busy my laptop broke and I lost a little motivation. I hope you understand.

We have been practicing social distancing in a big way in Minnesota. The kids were going to school for 2 days a week but from the first of December they are going to be going all distance learning due to an uptick in Corona virus cases.  Also as of last night the restaurants have gone to pick up only.  They were operating at 50% capacity. I really hope this is the last shut down we will have to experience! I really feel for all the commercial business workers who are affected by the shutdowns.

Our family had two sad events in both September and October. Both of my grandma’s in law passed away about a month apart. They were both amazing ladies who had a bright vibrancy for life, and also great faith in God. May they rest in peace.

We have been doing some house projects. We just had a new bathroom window installed where there was none before. It is so nice to have the natural light come in now! On the same wall we are also replacing our master bedroom window with a new one which will be more energy efficient.

We will be celebrating Thanksgiving this coming week but it will be so much different than other years. We are just going to have our immediate family, everyone wants to be safe!

Please rate out of 10 this ruched graphic floral print georgette dress. See here

Wishing all my US followers a blessed thanksgiving . Also 80th happy birthday to my Dad πŸŽ‚πŸŽŠ Take care, Terri xo.

  1. Hi Terri! Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4. Death is always a heartache but thanks be to God who gives us peace that passes all understanding. The more we love someone, the more we miss them.

The dress is beautiful and I give it a 10!

    Prayers and blessings!

    1. Thank you so much Basia, we had a nice small thanksgiving. I think 7 is about right for this dress, blessings to you, I am getting a little old for mini dresses. It is good to have the choice to change styles, right? Thank you, Terri xoxo.

      1. Glad to hear you had a nice time during thanksgiving :))
I believe age is just a number. You’re never too old for anything… but I also believe one should do (or wear in this case) whatever makes them happy and comfortable πŸ’šπŸ’š

  3. Oh, Terri! Sending my condolences on the loss of your two grandmas. May you find comfort in the memories of happy times shared with them.
I’ve missed reading your blog and am glad you are back!!! It’s always so nice to hear your news from MN. I understand, though, about losing motivation–especially now. Life is so hard right now. And lonely too, for many. Let us all stay connected with prayers, comfort, and support.
How fun to be getting some home improvements completed. I love letting as much light into a house as possible. You will enjoy the daylight and sunshine when getting ready for the day.
We are doing the same for Thanksgiving–just us. We can all be comforted in the fact that we are all in the same boat at the Thanksgiving table this year–or most of us are anyway.
Take care, Terri, and continue to stay safe. Happy Thanksgiving! πŸ¦ƒ

    1. Thank you Cindy, they are Grandma’s through marraige but still a big loss to our family . Its18 years since I first met them at a restaurant when they got to check me out I guess!! There were many happy get togethers with them at Thanksgiving, Christmas and birthday celebrations.
Aww I am Glad to be back ! That is a beautiful sentiment of prayer, comfort and support. It is good to get improvements done for sure ! Let there be light, right! The morning sun shines in now which is uplifting. Thanksgiving was a new experience with just us 6 but nice all the same. Thanks for visiting Cindy, happy advent, Terri xoxo.
