Dress of the week March 22nd

Good morning Ladies! I hope you are all doing well in these new times we are living in due to the covid 19 virus. This is not something any of us could have envisaged a few short months ago but is our reality now. We must follow the guidelines laid to get through this sooner than later.

Last Sunday we had Church but since then the Archdiocese has said all masses will be done by video streaming.

The kids are keeping busy with games , books and playing outside with social distancing adhered to. They want to play with friends but they realize now it’s not possible. It is hard for them but they are understanding better now. They did a local sidewalk chalk challenge Yesterday!

The stores are calming down a little from the panic buying that was taking place , as well as new store rules being drawn up! I went to target on Thursday morning and as I walked in every cart had a package of toilet paper in it. I calmly walked back and grabbed a 12 pack as we were going low! They did have a one per customer limit which is good.

Dress of the week March 14th

Good morning ladies how are you doing today? The weather has cooled down a little here since last week, right now it is 25f but the sun is trying to peek out . It definitely has been cooler since last weekend. We pretty much stayed at home last weekend,on Friday night the 7th we had our Church’s annual Lenten fish fry. There were a lot of people there! Saturday we got the kids bikes out from the back of the garage, and dusted off the cobwebs! Our four-year-old rode his three wheeler for the first time unassisted it was great seeing him doing it.

On Tuesday I had a dentist appointment. I had to get a filling, I thought I was doing good with my teeth but you can always do better right? On Thursday two of our boys we’re home from school sick but they both went back on Friday which was good.

it’s unprecedented times we are living in right now, with the coronavirus everything is closed around here that is not necessary to be open. They’re talking about closing the schools is in our state next week. There is a lot of panic buying here which I think is a little over-the-top myself, it is not good if some have too much and others have very little. I think if we follow all the guidelines we will get through this ok.

Dress of the week March 7th

Good morning Ladies and happy March to you all! The weather here is turning for the better with warmer temperatures on the way. The blanket of snow we have had since early December is slowly melting. So maybe Spring is on it’s way. I will not get too carried away though, the last two months of March in 2018 and 2019 have given us over 20 inches each!

I missed writing my post last week(Sorry all!!) On the Friday 28th we went in both our vehicles to pick up our new sectional couch for the living room. It was at a furniture store 30 minutes away and they loaded It for us. Our Daughter was babysitting so we had a dinner date at a local countryside restaurant on the way back . It is nice to get husband and wife dates sometimes . We got it all inside after we got home and set it up. There was one snag however, one of the sections had two inch feet supplied instead of 4 inch so they are sending the correct ones by mail.

Saturday 29th , I leapt straight into doing Laundry(Sorry I’m terrible I know!) In the evening we went to a local taphouse we had not tried before, it was very busy and the food delicious. On Sunday after Church they had the monthly pancake breakfast. Also last weekend our youngest lost his first tooth , and when I say he lost it , I mean we dont know where it went! It was missing on Saturday morning, we figured he might have swallowed It!I think we will have a low key weekend, I have to make plans to meet with friends one of these weekends!
