Dress of the week September 29th ( Rachel is here!)

Good  morning  Ladies,  I  am  writing  on  friday  to  start  the  post  as  I  am  going  to  “Day  of  the  Dozers”  with our  2  older  boys  early  Saturday  morning!It  is  an  hour  drive  away.   This  has  become  an  annual  event where  kids  get  to  go  in  the  cab  of  bulldozers  ,  diggers  excavators  etc . and  scoop  up  dirt  with  the  professional  operators. This  is  a  wonderful  idea  for  kids  and  the  proceeds  go  to  charity. It  will  be  from   9am  and  we  will  stay  until  noon  or  so. Then  our  daughter  has  softball which  is  on  the  way  home  so  we  will stop  there and  watch  her.  Its  divide  and  conquer when  it  comes  to  the  kids  sometimes  ,  us  parents will  have  2 and  2!

We  are  expecting  our  first  frost today  also !  Brrr  , its  too  early!

Dress of the week September 22nd (Hello Bonnie!)

Hello  all,  I  am  starting  this  post  on  Friday afternoon,  Our  daycare  Lady  has  the  day off  and  I  took  it  off  to  mind  our  youngest. I  am  glad  actually ,  its  a  nice  excuse  for a  long  weekend!  I  dropped  the  bigger  kids at  school , hung out with our  little  guy  then  we  went  to  have  lunch  with  the  two  boys. There  is  a  special  seat  for  visiting  Parents in  the  lunchroom , but  when  Liam  seen  us he  refused  to  move  from his  friends!  Maybe  a  little  embarassed  he  did  eventually  join  us.  Then   our  3rd  grader  was  very  happy  to  see  us and  we  sat  with  his  friends. I  wanted  to  go  to  an  orchard  just  with  the  little  guy but  it  had  rained  for  four  days  and  the  ground  was  saturated.  Today  we  have  softball   but  a  quiet  weekend  apart  from  that.

I  would  like  to  introduce  you  to  Bonnie! She is  a  lovely  woman ( some of  you  know  her  already,  its  how  I  found  her!)   She  loves  fashion  and  stylish  clothes.  She  wants  to  help  women  to  find  great  items  of  clothing  on  a  budget.   She  wants  to  inspire us to  look  fabulous  no  matter  the  age!

Her  titles  are :

A classy lady, fashion lover, ballroom dancer, amateur  photographer, amateur cook, proud mother, bilingual teacher, corporate accountant and finally a fashion blogger:-)    She  is  a  busy  Lady!

Dress of the week September 15th (Meet Carmen!)

Good  morning  Ladies ,  I  hope  you  are  well.  The  temps  are  staying  warm  here ,  this  weekend  is  going  to  reach  87 F  or  30 c .  We  will  leave  our  pool  up- for  another  week . I  am  looking  forward  to fall  and  visiting  one, two  or  three  orchards  in  the  coming  weeks.  Do  you  like  Fall,  or  what  is  your  favorite  Season?   Last  weekend  was  pretty  low  key,  We  did  have  softball  for  our  daughter on  Sunday in  a town  half  an  hour  south  of  here.  We  went  and  had  dinner  there  too in  a nice  restaurant ,  it  was  nice  to  eat  on  the  patio.   On  wednesday  the  kids  had  a  mass  (church  service ) to  introduce  the  start  of  church  class  for  the  coming  year.   I  found  out  some  exciting  news  yesterday,   Aer  lingus  the  irish  airline  are  going  to  start  direct  service  from  Dublin  to  Minneapolis  St  Paul (MSP)  in  July  2019!!  It  will  be  so  nice  and  not  having  a stopover  for  hours  on   a reconnecting  flight is huge.

This  week  I  am  featuring  Carmen  a  wonderful  Lady  from  Kitchener  Ontario  . She  is  about  an  hour  and  a  half  southwest  from  Toronto .  Kitchener  is  sandwiched between  3  of  the  great  lakes, Huron  ,  Erie and  Ontario, easy  driving  distance  to  all  3. A  lot  of  her  summer  posts  feature  the  small  towns  that are  on  the  lake  shorelines  and  all  the  cute  stores  you  find  in  a  small  town.  I  always  look forward  to “visiting” them  through  her  posts.

Carmen  is  vegan   and  likes to  take  care  of  the  earth.  She  chooses her  clothing  carefully  and  always  makes  sure  it  is  made  by  employees  who  are  treated  and  paid  fairly.  Her  style  is  very  much  feminine  which  is  a  win  win  for  Me  to  follow  her!    She  looks  amazing  ,  and  is  kept  active  by  being  a  dance  teacher.

Dress of the week September 8th (Mackenzie Marie!)

Good   morning  ladies  ,  how  is  your  September  going  so  far? We  are  definitely  experiencing cooler  temps  , it  was 50F  or  10c  yesterday  morning!  We  had  a  fun  long  weekend   for  labor  day .  We  did  fun   family  time  at  home  for  most  of  the  day  saturday ,  then  in  the  evening  went  to  a  great  outdoor  waterpark  with  slides ,  wavepools , paddlepools  and  a  lazy  river!   The  kids  had  great  fun   and  used up  their  energy.   On  Sunday  we  went  to  church  in  the  morning ,  then went  to  a  friends  house  for a  barbecue  in  the  evening ,  the  kids  again  went  swimming in  their  lovely  pool .  Monday was  low  key  with  last  minute  prep  for SCHOOL! We made  sure  that  everything  was  in  order  for the start  of  middle  school  for our  daughter , 3rd  grade  and  the  start  of  kindergarten  for  our two older  sons.  The  little  guy is the  only  one  left  in  daycare. They  all  had  a  great  start  to the  school  year .

This  week  I  am  featuring Mackenzie ,  a very sweet  young  Woman living in  the  San  Jose area  of  California  but  originally  an Ohio   Girl! She  is  married  to  DJ for  3  years  now  and  is  going  to  graduate  school for nursing. Following  her  for  this  past  2  years,   I  have seen  how she  is  a  very  caring  nurse  who loves  her  patients!   Her  posts  are  so  fun  to  read as  she  explores her  suroundings  ,  takes  us  to  all  the restaurants she  visits  with  such  yummy  food, takes  us  on  hikes  in  local  parks ,  and  takes  us  into her family life , introducing  us  to  her  Mom, Grandparents , siblings  and  friends.  She  adds  fun  little  quotes to  her  posts  which  crack  Me  up! Dress of the week September 1 (something new!)

Hello  Ladies ,  how are  you  today?   I  knew  it  was  coming  but  still    got  a  shock  to  put  down  SEPTEMBER in  the  title!     Where  has  the  summer  gone.   I  know  it  is  Autumn/fall  already  in  the  UK and  Ireland   and  it  is  generally  accept it  is  fall  here  once  this  weekend  is  over  although  officially the  date  is  September  21.  It  is  a holiday  weekend  here in  the  US ,  labor  day. No  work  until  tuesday!  Tuesday  is  also  the  day  the  kids go  back  to  school  here. Our  daughter  will  start  6th  grade and  into middle  school,  Our  oldest  son  goes  into  3rd grade  and  our liam starts  school  in  kindergarten. He  is  excited   for it ,  he  had  his  last  day  at  daycare  on  thursday,  we  are  down  to one in  daycare   now!   Liam I  feel  will  be  one  of  those  kids the  teacher will  know  his  name  pretty  soon,  he  loves  to  talk!   I  keep  telling  him  he  needs  to  listen to  the  teacher   so  we  will  see how  it  goes.  We  are  going  to   a  friends  house today for  a end  of  summer get  together  they  have  a  pool  too  so  there  will  be  swimming  for  the  kids ,  maybe  a  glass  of  wine  for  us  adults?

The  something  new  I  have written  in  the  title is to  start  featuring my  blogging  friends  modelling  their  wonderful  dresses that  they  have  purchased.  I  have  my  first  friend lined  up for  this week  offer ( I could  be  asking  you  next!)
