Dress of the week December 29th

Hello  Ladies!  I  hope  you  all  had  a  lovely  Christmas .  Ours  was  very  nice, we  went  to  the  in-laws on  Christmas  eve,  we  were  not  there  in  time  for  Church  so  went  on  Christmas  morning  instead .  We  did  gift  exchange  between  family  members  and  the  kids  got  so  much  stuff! It  is  easy  to  see  they  are  loved.  Then  it  was  time  for  bed  because  santa  still  had  to  come .  When  they  awoke on  Christmas  morning  the  man  in  red  did  not  dissapoint   and  he  had  dropped  off  a  bunch  more  toys !  The  day  was  relaxing  and  we  stayed over  a  second  night . We  returned  home  on  the  26th  in  the  afternoon.

MERRY Christmas TO ALL!

Dress of the week December 22nd

Good  morning Ladies!  We  are  edging  so  much  closer  to  Christmas  day! I  am  excited  to have  Monday  here  as  we  go  to  My  in-laws  in  the  afternoon,  go  to  Church for  the  celebration  of  the  birth  of the  Baby  Jesus ,  and  have dinner  and  family  gift  exchange! The  kids  are  so  excited  for  Christmas  but we  have  to  keep  them  grounded  as  parents  and  remind  them  of  the  true  meaning  of  the  season.

I  still  have  some  last   minute  shopping (gasp!  I  know!)  to  do today . I  am  also  going  to  the  hair  salon  today, and  maybe later we  will get  in  the  car  and  look  at  all  the  outdoor  neighborhood  lights. Some  people  are  so  creative , we  might  get  ideas for  next  year!

Dress of the week December 15th

Good  Afternoon  Ladies.  I  am  later  than  usual  posting  today.   My  mother-in-law  took  the  day  off  to  hangout  Friday  and  stayed  over  with  us  last  night .  The  kids  Love  having  Grandma  around!  I  get  along  well  with  her  too.   She  had  breakfast  with  us  and  left  at  about  10 am   for  the  2  hour  drive  home .  We  will  spend  Christmas  at  their  house, it  is  always  fun!

Christmas  is  coming  very  fast  and  all  the  last  minute  shopping  is  getting  done (  I  think it  is  aaarrrgghh!!)  I  am  looking  forward  to  Christmas  eve.  We  go  to  Mass (church)  at  4pm  to  celebrate  the  birth  of  Jesus .  Then  we  will  have  supper  and  some  gift  opening  (  It  is  a  tradition  of  the  family  I  married  into  to  open  gifts  from  family  members   on  Christmas  eve! )  Of  course  Santa  will  not  arrive  until  the  early  hours  when  all  the  kids  are  sleeping!   What  are  you  doing  for  Christmas?  You  know  I  live  in  Minnesota with  this picture  below!

Dress of the week December 8th

Good  morning  Ladies,  how  are  you  today?  The  days  are  creeping  on  towards  Christmas  and  the  excitement  builds.  Today  our  Church  celebrates  the  feast  of  the  Immaculate conception  ,  when  Mary   consented  to  be  the mother  of  the  savior  Jesus Christ.  I  found  this  fun  Calendar   below!

We  had  6  inches  of  snow  last  Saturday  into  Sunday  so the  kids  enjoyed their  time  playing  in  it. Today  it  is  7 f  or -14c  so  a little  chilly.   Tomorrow I  get  to  host  Coffee  and  donuts  at  our  Church.  It  is  a  ministry  I  love  doing  and  it  creates  friendship for  the  people  who  attend.

Dress of the week December 1

Good  morning  all   from a  seasonal  Minnesota!  We  have  more  snow  on  the  ground  after  2  inches    fell  this  week.  It  is  life  here,  I  know  some  of  you  would  love  to  have  it  for  a  bit  at  least. This  week  was  about  getting  back  into  routine  after  the  long  weekend   and  thanksgiving. Now  December  has crept  in  Christmas  will  be  here  really  fast!   Next  weekend  we  will  decorate  the  house,  today  I  will  help  organise  our  garage which  is  a bit  messy so  we  can  get  at  the  Christmas  decorations.  Our  kids  summer  stuff  got  put  in  for  the  winter  but  now  we  have  to  access the  Christmas items! Yay!
