Good morning Ladies! Welcome to a wet and dreary Minnesota, we had a lot of rain yesterday and its dull today so far. Earlier in the week the temps were perfect (for me!) in the 70’s or 21-26 celcius. Some people like the 90’s but having grown up in a damper climate it is too hot for Me! What is your perfect temperature? Last week i posted that the rest of the family went away for the weekend and I stayed back. I got painting completed but I do see messy hands appearing on the walls again. They are like a magnet for little hands ! The kids got to meet their new teachers this week so we are edging towards back to and starting school for one ! Tomorrow I get to accompany our daughter to a minnesota twins baseball game ! Her softball team gets to parade around the stadium before the big game ( I dont even know who the twins play yet, is that bad!) It is a big treat and happening 2 years in a row now.

Hello all, this post has been a long time coming ! We left home on the morning on June 7th and checked into the MSP airport. It was exciting for the little ones being in an airport for the first time. We flew to Boston to connect for our flight to Dublin. The kids did well on the flight despite some nerves! They had their entertainment devices along to help distract. We arrived in Boston after a 2 hour flight and had a long layover for the 9.30 pm flight . The original flight to Boston was cancelled and we had to rebook but could only get an early morning flight out of msp. So we left the airport and experienced downtown Boston. It was fun to walk around , stretch the legs and see some history. I think we will go back to Boston sometime to really experience the city. It was time to go back to the airport , get some food , and wait for the flight to Dublin. It left on time , the kids did well again except our little one who couldnt get comfy to sleep. He eventually did drop off which was a relief! We arrived at 8am got our bags , and hired our car. It was a leisurely drive to my parents house and reunited after two and a half years! On the saturday there was a party where we met friends , relatives and neighbors , it was so fun and we got to see a lot of people in one place. On Monday we travelled to my sisters house where she arranged a party for our little one turning 3 that day! She hired a bouncy castle which was so fun for the kids!
Thanks so much to her!! We spent a few relaxing days with her and the went to my other sisters house an hour away. On the way we went to Galway city which is so nice with pedestrian streets.
My older Sister lives really close to the ocean, you can see it from her upstairs bedroom window! The ocean can be seen in between white and yellow house with hills in background.
We went to the ocean even though it was cold there!! We also went to a funpark that had giant slides , farm animals and adventure area.
Soon it was time to go back to my parents house ( They and my brother came along for some of the time at my sisters) Friday evening we went back and had dinner with my Aunt , uncle and a cousin i didnt get to see earlier. Then we went to my uncles farm that evening after dinner.
The next day Saturday we visited a Dear cousin of mine and that night I went for a few drinks with my friends from school!! It was good to catch up and also see others i knew. Sunday we went to church and met more people afterwards . We then went to lunch to celebrate fathers day. It was great being there for that . Monday morning came and we had to leave 😦 There was a lot of tears as I said goodbye to my parents . I hope we get back soon again. Thank you all who made our trip so wonderful!! Thanks for reading , Terri xo.
Good morning Ladies! I am late writing my post this week. The rest of our family went to north Dakota to visit friends . I stayed home to finish a little painting touch up from the repainting of our living room and kitchen. it is so much easier when the little ones are out of the house! Painting is not my favorite thing to do but I got it done! then i went into the city to meet a new friend of mine . We had a few hours to chat and relax! I appreciate a little Me time once in a while to do whatever you please! This morning I went to Church and now am catching up on blogs and having my coffee. The gang will be back later today . What are you doing this weekend?

Hello all, how is your weekend going? Mine started early as our daycare lady was having a friday off , so it meant a 3 day weekend for me too!! I am not complaining. I caught up on household chores , laundry , dishes housecleaning etc. Its amazing how our little ones can make such a mess !! I also took our oldest son to the doctor with a bleeding ear. He is on medication now , doing better. Last Sunday we celebrated my Grandfather through marriage (grandfather-in-law?) 90th birthday. We went to a favorite restaurant of his for lunch and had a big family get together. Happy birthday again Pete! Back to school planning is in full swing with items being purchased and teachers being assigned to the kids. Our Number 3 Is starting in September! I have a feeling the teacher will know his name pretty well pretty fast ! It is always easier to remember the chatty ones first and I am sure it will be the same for his teacher!

Good morning Ladies! We have creeped into August , the month where back to school gets into full swing, and the month where the kids have to use wisely as the end of summer! Our Liam is starting school in september and is so excited ! I have a feeling hte teachers will get to know him pretty quick. Dana will start middle school 6th grade and Oran will go into 3rd grade. Our youngest will still be in daycare . We have a low key weekend planned after softball and waterpark last weekend. We are going on a date night tonight , getting a babysitter, it has been so long since just the 2 of us got away so it should be nice.
