Dress of the week June 30

Good  morning  ladies, welcome  from  a hot  Minnesota !  It  was  in  the  high  90s f  or  36c  yesterday  but  the  humidity  made  it  feel    even  warmer!  We  have  our  above  ground  pool  set  up  now  ,  we  got  a  new  one  this  year  ,  it  is  a  foot  wider  and  8  inches  taller   than  last  years  and  the  kids  love  it! It  is  perfect  for  the  hot  days. On  Monday  I  celebrated  my  birthday (getting  old! )   It  was a  quiet  affair  just  our  own  family ,   but  was  nice.  We  went  to  a  new  taphouse  and  grill  in  our  town  for  dinner  ,  very nice  place.  On  tuesday  our  3  year  old  went  in  to  get  his  tonsils  out  ,  he  was  such  a trooper  but  is  still  recovering  and  taking  pain  medicine.    On  monday  coming  our  daughter  celebrates  her  11th  birthday!  She  is  getting  so  grown  up  but  I  want  her  to  stay  a  little  girl  for  a  while  longer. She  is  tall  for  her  age too  so  that  is  another  factor.

Dress of ther week June 23

Good  morning  Ladies! It  seems  like  I  just  put  up   last  weeks  post  ….  oh  wait i  did  belatedly a  few  days  ago!! We  are  all  nearly  back  to  normal  after  our  trip  to  Ireland  (post  is  coming about  that  I  promise!)  The  kids did  really  well  settling  back  ,  when your  body  clock  is  all  over  the  place  sleep  can  suffer  but  they  were  troopers. Our  lovely  neighbors  looked  after  our  house  while  away  and  one  cut  our  grass  twice !  Thank  you  kind  sir.  Our  next  door  neighbors  had    a  little  baby  Girl  while  we  were  away ,  she  is  so  cute  and  they  named  her  Skylie . We  also on  thursday   night  installed  our  new  pool !  It  is  15  feet  diameter  and  52 inches  tall . A  foot  wider  and  10  inches  deeper  from  last  years .  We  finished  filling  it  with  water  yesterday and  the  kids  had  to  jump  in. The  temps  were  too  cold  for  Me  brrr,  I  will  wait  for  the  sun  to do  its  thing   first!

Dress of the week June 16th

Good  morning  Ladies !  I  am  a  little  late  doing  this  post but  being  on  vacation  there  was  so  much  to  do  to  fit  everything  in  I  neglected  you  all  and  I  apologise!  My  last  post  showed  we  had  arrived  in  Ireland and  met  a  lot  of  friends  and  family  at  a  party  put  together  by  my  parents  and  sisters.  Thank  you  so  much  to  you  all!   On  Monday   11th  we  drove  the  two  and  a  half hours  to  my  Sisters  house  where  she  put  on  a  party  for  our  youngest  celebrating  his  3rd  birthday! She  got   a bouncy  castle  and   they  had  water  fights ,  so  much  fun!  I  will  do  an Ireland  trip  post  shortly  to recap  our  trip,  stay  tuned!

Dress of the week June 9th

Good morning to you all from a sunny Ireland! Yes we arrived on Friday morning  after flying to Boston and getting a connecting flight  to Dublin. We had a long layover in Boston , so left the airport to do a little exploring in South Boston.  We got back to the airport in plenty of time to get the 9.30 pm   Dublin bound. It was 6 hours of smooth flying , with plenty to entertain the kids on board. The airlines have a lot to offer entertainment wise  these days!  We got in at 8.30 am local time , got through to the arrivals hall after 45 minutes and car rental took an hour after realising we wouldn’t fit all our luggage in the selected car! We upgraded and were on our way  at 11.30 am to my parents house  getting there at  close to 1pm. We had lunch and the kids had a nice time getting to know their dog thistle!  They so want a puppy of their own !  Saturday morning, after a much needed  nights sleep  we went into our local town  for breakfast at this cute cafe. I got to meet some of the locals including a former teacher  and the Mom of a classmate!  We went on a walk in the  local forest park  with a lovely lake that we partly Walked around. We  We then went back to my parents house and  my two sisters had arrived  one is married with two kids a girl and boy, the other  sister is married  also.  At 5pm we went to the local pub restaurant  for a pre arranged party  extended  family reunion   and friend and neighbour reunion too!  It was so fun meeting everyone  again. It lasted into the night  but was time to take everyone home.  I am  awake early as everyone sleeps! We have a fun week ahead planned  .

Dress of the week June 2

Good  morning  Ladies!  I  hope  you  had  a  nice  holiday  weekend  for  those  who  had  it  off.  We had  memorial  day on  Monday , and  it  reached  100 degress   here ! Then  afterwards  we  had a  few  days  of  thunderstorms  to  cool  down.  This  weekend  is  cooler  with  more  rain  promised. Speaking  of  rain….  we  are  going  to  be  leaving  on  thursday  for  our  trip  to  Ireland!  We  are  pretty  excited , some  of  the  kids  are  a  little  scared  of  flying  for  the  first  time.  We  get  a  test  run  from  here  to  Boston,  about  2.5 hours ,  then  its  6.5  hours  to  Dublin. No  direct  flights  yet!  We   will  stay  with  my  parents  and  2  sisters  on  the  trip  and  our  youngest  will  celebrate  his  3rd  birthday  when  there, so  my  sister  is  throwing  him  a  party!   I  hope  to  be able  to  do  next  weeks  from  Ireland.
