Dress of the week April 27th

Good morning  one  and  all!  We  are  creeping  towards  the  end  of  April, it  has  gone  so   fast! We   are  seeing  spring  growth ,  the  flower shoots are  starting  to peek  up  through  the  ground ,  the  grass  is growing   and  leaves  are  starting  to  appear  on  the  trees, I love  it!!

 

 

After  going  to  church  in  the  morning  to  celebrate  the  ressurection  of  Jesus , We hosted  Easter  dinner.   There  were  4  generations  of  18  people   and  our  neighbor   a  came  over  a  little  later  to  join  the  party. The  Great  Grandma  is  having  breathing  issues  and  has  to  now  bring  an oxygen  machine  but  it  was  great  seeing  her.  There  was  a fun  egg  hunt  with  clues to  find  and  at  the end  the  kids  got  a  $10  gift  card ! How  was  your  Easter?

Dress of the week April 20th

Good  morning  Ladies  and  Happy  Easter  weekend  to  you!  Yesterday  was  the  day  Good  Friday when  Jesus  was  crucified to  fulfill  his  earthly  journey,  he  died to  save  us  from  our  Sins.   Tomorrow  Easter  Sunday  Jesus  will  rise, the  tomb  will  be  empty.

Last  weekend  was  fun, a friend  Leah and  her  two  boys  came  to  visit  from  Fargo. Her husband  stayed home  to  accomplish  chores and  knowing  him  have  a  few  beers!   She  got  here  late  Friday  night and  after  getting  the  kids  to  bed   was  ready  for  a  glass  of  wine  and  a  chat.  Saturday  was  a  relaxing  day  early  then  in  the  afternoon  went  to  a  community  center  for  swimming.  It  is  only  15  miles  from  us  but  the  first  time  we  visited. It  had  two  waterslides which  were  fun.  Also a  hot tub for  the  adults  which  was  extremely  hot  in  my  opinion.   They left  Sunday  morning  for  the  trip  home  ,  the kids  loved  having  the  boys  here .  We  usually  go  to  their  house  in  the  summer   so  will look  forward  to  that !

We  are  hosting  Easter  this  year  for  the  extended  family . Looking  forward  to  seeing  everyone  and  the  grass is  starting  to  green  and  grow! Great  for  a  egg  hunt.

Dress of the week April 13th

Good  morning  Ladies !    I  hope  your  weekend  is  off  to  a  nice  start.  Last  weekend  we  spent  time  outside as  it  was  really  nice.  We  cleaned  up our  yard  of  kids  toys  that  had  scattered . Also we  set  up  our  trampoline for  the  kids which is  a  big  hit. It  is  enclosed   so   they  cannot  fall  off  it.   The    school week   started  off  good   ,  kids  went  as  normal  until at  midday Wednesday  we  had s**w again!  It  was  forecast  and  it  snowed  so  much  that  school  was  cancelled on  Thursday.  It  kept  falling  on  and  off into  Friday midday. We  got  over  8  inches  total! A  late  storm  that  hopefully  will be  it for  the  year!!

We  are  entertaining  this  weekend .  A  friend  from  Fargo  and  her  two  boys  aged  7  and  5  are  here (  her  husband  stayed  home  to  do  projects!)  until  Sunday.  They  left  Fargo  at  5pm Friday  and  got  here  at  10pm. We  will  have  a  fun  day ,  going  to  a waterpark (indoor  of  course!)  and  whatever  else  we  get  up  to. They  leave  Sunday  morning.  Tomorrow  is  Palm  Sunday where Jesus  make s his  way  to  Jerusalem  on   a  Donkey  and  just  days  later  is  crucified to  fulfill his  mission on  Earth.

Dress of the Week April 6th

Good  morning  Ladies !  After  having  Spring  break   and  our  trip  to  Kansas  City   It  was  back  to  reality  on  Monday!    We  had  a  quiet  weekend and  pretty  much  stayed  home  apart  from  Church  and running  to  the  store. On  Monday  evening   our  car(  we  also  have  a pick up   truck)   broke  down  and  had  to  be  towed  to  the  garage! It  is  the  transmission  that  needs  to  be  rebuilt costing  $5000!  Luckily  it is  covered  under  warranty!  Some  April  fools  joke our  car  pulled!  The  rest  of  the  week went  by uneventfully  .  Our  daughter  started  indoor  practice  for  softball and another  summer  of  fun!
