Dress of the week February 23rd

Hi  Ladies!  I  am  late  posting  today, was  doing  cooking  and  housework  so  it  is  time  to  sit  for  a  bit!  This  past  we  we  hit  a  record  for  February  snowfall . The  old  record  was  26  inches  and  we  got  to  30!  We  are  due even  more  this  weekend  with  2-5 inches  expected! We  don’t  know  where  to  put  the  snow  anymore.   The  kids  were  off  school  Monday  for  Presidents day  and   then  Wednesday  for  a  snow  day. There  are  plenty  of  snow  plows  to  clear  the  roads  which  I  am  thankful  for.

This  weekend  is  relaxing   for  the  most  part.  Our  Church is  having  a  spaghetti  dinner  tonight  and  followed  by  bingo.   I  have  still  to  win  at   bingo  after  playing  for  10  years  now!   Do  you  ever  play  bingo?

Dress of the week February 16th

Good  morning  Ladies! I  hope  you  had  a  nice  week up  to  now .  How  was  your  Valentines  day? Do  you  like  to  celebrate  it? Ours  was  a  whole  family  Valentines  day with work  and  school then When  the  kids  got  home  they  brought  their  little gifts  from  their  classmates. This  can  get  quite  messy  with  packaging and  candy  everywhere  but  we  got  through it and had  a nice  family dinner . We  did  pick  up  a  bottle of  wine  so  we  could  have  some  after  the  kids  went  to  bed but  it  got  too  late  when  they  all  got  settled,  so  maybe  tonight !

We  have  a quiet  weekend  planned  as  it  is  staying  cold    and  we  have  more  snow  promised . What  are  your  plans this  weekend?

Dress of the week February 9th

Hello  all, how  is  your  weekend  going?? I  am  awake  early  as  usual to  get  my  post  out. It  is something  I  look  forward  to !  We  got  a  lot  of  snow this  week.  There  were  two  different   snowstorms  on  Wednesday  and  again  on Thursday night. The  kids  got  Friday  off,  which  they  didn’t complain  about. the  temperature  is  cold  again, at  minus  15f today or  minus  26c.  We  are  staying  indoors  for  the  most  part! Last  night  we  were  able  to  get  our   babysitter   and  have  a  few  hours out!  We  went  to  a  local restaurant  with  good  food  and  drinks. We   don’t   get  the amount  of  couple  time  we  used  to  before  kids but  you  gotta take  advantage  when  you  can. Our  Daughter  will  be  able  to  babysit  her  siblings    from  July  ,  her  Birthday!

Dress of the week February 2nd.

Good  morning  Ladies! Happy  Groundhog  day   to  you. My  prediction  is  there  will  be  6  more  weeks  of  winter. There  always  is in  Minnesota!  We  just  came  through  the  coldest  week  I  have  experienced  since  moving  here!  On  Monday we  had  5 to 6 inches  of  snow  and  the  schools called  Sunday  night to  cancel school. Also  because  of  the  polar  vortex they  were  off Tuesday,  Wednesday  and  Thursday  giving  them  a  6 day  weekend.  They did  have  to  do  some  assignments that  were e-mailed to  us . It  was  just  too  cold  to go  to  school. We  had  two  days  in  a  row of  minus  27 f (minus  32c)   and  windchills  of  -54f (-47c)  I  hope  it will  not  get  that  cold  again  this  winter. 

We  are  having  a  quiet  weekend , tomorrow is  the  superbowl  in  Atlanta  with  New  England  taking  on  the   Los  Angels rams. Are  you  going  to   watch?
