Good morning Ladies ! Welcome to a sunny Minnesota ,it has been in the high eighties f or arond 31c the last few days for highs! While I am glad to be away from winter it seems it gets too hot too fast for my Irish skin ! But we take what we get right? Last Saturday I worked concessions at my Daughters softball game as volunteer hours . It was fun doing food prep stocking drinks and bring it all to the front, I did not work the till which I was relieved about , another Lady did it and was so good at counting it all up ! On the field our team had mixed results won some lost some.
On Tuesday our two older boys finished school for the year 3rd grade and Kindergarten . Then Our Daughter finished 6th Grade on Thursday. They are all excited about summer vacation !
To go hand in hand with vacation we set up our above ground pool on Wednesday . Our neighbor came over and helped us and we got it filled by late Thursday. The kids went into the cold water yesterday (brrr!) but were fine after being there a while. The sun is helping to warm it up.
Today we are going to friends to celebrate their house warming, his 40th Birthday and to meet their new baby Daughter Lila for those that have not yet ( I have and she is gorgeous!) They are laying on a bouncy castle and other activities for the kids. Tomorrow we are going to celebrate our extended family summer birthdays . There are 11 people between June and August . ( I am one of them) It seems early to celebrate the August birthdays but for some reason we can’t get together then.

We had a major heat wave too! It finally came back down this week too! So glad to hear that volunteering concessions went well! Sounds like a great start to summer vacation with birthday celebrations, meeting sweet Lila and a pool installation- woohoo!!! Enjoy. 🙂
PS. What type of flower is on this dress, do you know? It’s so pretty!

Hi Terri! We’re experiencing similar weather here in Southern Ontario. Many cool and rainy days, then the sun comes out and it feels like the middle of summer, a little too hot, but hey! I’m not complaining! Nice that you’ve set up your pool for those warm and sunny days. I’m sure your children are going to enjoy their summer holidays. WOW! What a lot of birthdays to celebrate!

yes similar weather for sure. Yes we get winter for long enough , right? The pool is a big hit . Yes its 4 generations of birthdays, it was a nice get together. Yes Cindy Summer weather is here as I am sure it is in Northern Illinois. Oh it is so cold for me right now , a week of sun shining on it will warm it up!!
