Dress of the week February 17

Hello  Ladies ,  how  are  YOU  today? I  am  up  early  as  usual   with  our  2  younger  boys  awake  before  6am!   The  older  boy  and  Girl  sleep  in  a  little  longer.  My  mother  in  law  is  also  staying  here,  she  came  yesterday  to  stay  with  kids  as  they  had  a  day  off from  school. They  went  to  “feed  my  starving  Children”  yesterday  which  is  a  facility  that  packages  food  for  people  in  underprivileged  countries. It  is  a  great  way  of  giving  back  .  We   had  a  quiet   Valentines  day  as  it  fell  on   ash  Wednesday,  the  start  of  lent  for  our  church,  40   days  of  trying  to  be  better  people  and  commemorating  the  forty  days  Jesus  spent  fasting  in  the  desert.   We  will  have  date   night  soon  I  hope  ! The  weather  is  getting  slighty  warmer  here,  one  week  at a  time  I  guess.   Please   rate  out  of  10   this  A  line  embroidered  swing  dress    for  Spring(  yes  looking  forward!)  See  here

Wishing  you  all a  lovely  weekend  ,  hugs,  Terri  xo.

    1. Thank you Jessica for comment and rating! I think 9 is a good choice for this one. You should check and see if there is a similar organization where you live, It is lots of fun and rewarding, you can do it for a kids birthday activity with their friends. Or just sign up anytime. Have a nice week Dear, hugs, Terri xo.

  1. Hello, Terri. It sounds like you’ve been busy. Your little ones do wake up early, don’t they? It’s so nice to hear your older ones giving of their time to help out. We have that organization close by us, too. My daughter went to a Catholic high school and a lot of the kids volunteered there to help fulfill their service hours. Yes, I’m trying to be “better” this lenten season, too. Speaking of dresses and being better–yesterday I made a dress for a little girl–it will be added to one of my Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes this year. It was very fulfilling and I am imagining a little girl wearing it already. I hope to make many more.
You DO pick pretty dresses. How about a 9?
Have a wonderful Sunday, Terri. ❤

    1. Hi Cindy, thank you so much for stopping by and commenting and rating! There were high school kids from our local one there too my Mother in law told me. I have heard of Samaritan purse’s shoeboxes. Such a great idea . God bless you for planning to make a bunch of dresses. Thank you for the compliment, I pick dresses that I like a lot, and some that I love! I think 9 is a great rating for this one. Have a nice evening Cindy, hugs, Terri xo.

  2. Hi Terri. Put me down for a solid 9 for this week’s offering. Pleased spring is a little closer. Now the world would be perfect if only the younger ones would sleep in a bit. I can remember that stage of life too.
Someone once said to me “remember, the first fifty years of parenthood are the worst!”
Still, it’s a large part of what keeps us young.
    Stay young Terri,
    Geraldine
