Dress of the week August 28th !

Good  morning  Ladies! It  is  a dry  start  to Saturday   after  a  week  of  heavy   rain   in   4  days  since  last  weekend. We  are  promised  more  this  weekend .I  will take  it  as  it  has  been  a dry  summer  up until  now.  It is  also  welcome  for the  farmers  in  our  area   as   they  grow  their  crops.

Last Saturday we got a bunch of yardwork done. Our friend Brandon borrowed a friends tractor to disperse the pile of dirt created from putting our pool in. He came over early and we made breakfast before starting. He is really good on the tractor and after an hour had most of the pile knocked down and spread through the yard in the low spots . We had to take out the clumps and big stones by hand. After it was spread we put down grass seed and it is starting to grow now .

On Sunday we went to Church and after lunch spent a relaxing day at home. I went into the pool for the first time since it was put in, before this I had watched the kids only but I braved the cold water and had a nice time in it !!! The week was pretty typical , but the last week off for the kids, they go back to school on Monday. There were some last minute events, school photos , and a refresher for our new middle schooler getting used to his new surroundings , I went with him yesterday to an empty school , it was nice to walk around and see where his rooms are. Our daughter had a volleyball game Friday and they unfortunately lost, cant win them all!!

A  few weeks  ago  we  were  both  asked  to  be  Godparents  to our  nephew  Stanley  and we  accepted  of  course !  So  tomorrow  at  8:30 am  he  is  being  baptized ,  being made  a  child of  God’s  Kingdom.  We   have  to  travel  3  hours  so   we  are  leaving  later  today   and  staying  in a hotel overnight .   It  has a  pool  so it has  the  kids  excited.  Afterwards  we  will go  back to  his  parents  house  for  lunch.  It  will be  a great  day  for  the   family.

Please  rate out of  10  this   floral  embroidery    dupioni  A  line  dress  ,  see here

  2. We’ve also had some downpours here in Kincardine where we are visiting and helping our son to work on his new (fixer-upper) house. Today is sunny and breezy and we start every day by going to the beach and reading a chapter from the Bible. 🙂

The dress is very pretty with a ’50s vibe – 10.

    Have an awesome week!
