  2. Hi, Terri. Your home looks so happy and festive. Thank you for sharing photos of your decorations. It will be small gatherings for most everyone I’m afraid. Thank goodness for Zoom.
I am definitely looking forward to 2021. I wonder how it will feel to be able to be able to get within 6 feet of people who aren’t family. Six feet is our new personal space! Ha!
Enjoy these last days before Christmas. Still no snow here. It’s sunny and about 40 today. The next few will be warmer yet, and then the big Christmas Eve and Christmas Day plunge into teens and single digits. Brrr… I forgot what that feels like.
Pretty dress. Looks like it would be comfortable to wear.

    1. Thanks so much for your compliments on our Christmas decorating ! There is no Professional decorators here but we get by. It will be small groups this year but a sacrifice we must take part in. Zoom is great! It will seem strange getting closer to people again , but to reconnect with friends will be so good ! I will enjoy the days. The kids have virtual school until Tuesday . Still no snow here either . I didn’t see the extended forecast but thanks for sharing , brrr. The dress does look comfy to wear , I like the embroidery. Thanks for visiting, if i don’t se e you have a blessed Christmas , you and your family, Terri xo.

  3. love the xmas tree and decorations πŸ€©πŸ€©πŸ’– btw is it a tradition to decorate the house with elfs ? we never had that in Poland but I’ve seen my British friends do that too and always forget to ask…!?

    1. Thank you Basia for your tree and decorations compliments! We didnt associate much with elves growing up in Ireland , more common in USA . I found this though (The association of Christmas presents with elves has precedents in the first half of the 19th century with the Tomte in Sweden and Nisse in Denmark, and St Nicholas himself is called an elf in A Visit from St. Nicholas (1823).) Thanks for visiting Basia , Terri xo.

      1. oh I had no idea… thank your for a little history lesson :)) 😘its interesting to know how other countries celebrate xmas and what festive traditions they have. in the U.S. are you celebrating xmas, same like in UK, on the 25th ? in Poland the main xmas day (rather eve) is on 24th. πŸŽ„πŸŽ„
