Dress of the week March 22nd

Good morning Ladies! I hope you are all doing well in these new times we are living in due to the covid 19 virus. This is not something any of us could have envisaged a few short months ago but is our reality now. We must follow the guidelines laid to get through this sooner than later.

Last Sunday we had Church but since then the Archdiocese has said all masses will be done by video streaming.

The kids are keeping busy with games , books and playing outside with social distancing adhered to. They want to play with friends but they realize now it’s not possible. It is hard for them but they are understanding better now. They did a local sidewalk chalk challenge Yesterday!

The stores are calming down a little from the panic buying that was taking place , as well as new store rules being drawn up! I went to target on Thursday morning and as I walked in every cart had a package of toilet paper in it. I calmly walked back and grabbed a 12 pack as we were going low! They did have a one per customer limit which is good.

Please rate out of 10 this ditzy 70s floral print ruffle trim dress , see here

Shoutout:- To my mother in Ireland celebrating Mothers day today. It is always the fourth Sunday of Lent . Love you❤

Have a safe week everyone , with love , Terri xo.

  1. Hi Terri! Oh how times have changes in just over a week. I am so glad to hear that you’re staying safe at home. I 100% agree that we MUST follow guidelines. It’s the only way to get things back to normal. Those sound like such fun activities. I hope you’re enjoying this time of togetherness. Stay safe my friend. Also I LOVE this gorgeous dress. 🙂

    1. Yes we are all safe Courtney! Minnesota just announced shelter in place warnings starting at midnight. It brings everyone closer together. I know you are home all the time now too.(I had a sneak peek of your latest post!) Thanks on the dress, I figured you might like the dress, it is from Shein and was posted after you blogged on Shein by coincidence! Thanks for visiting Dear, Terri xo.

  2. Hi, Terri. I am happy to hear you and your family are doing good. We had mass online for the second Sunday in a row. It’s going to be strange (and sad) not being able to attend Easter mass, but best we all stay safe.
It’s good you have three, so they can play together and not get too lonely. They did a great job on your driveway. I’m sure their hard work brought much joy to all of the walkers.
That’s funny about the toilet paper. You probably really did need a new pack. You have a large family, so no worries, right?
I love your dress-of-the-week. It reminds me of something I would have worn as a teenager. I hope your mom had a happy Mother’s Day. Have a great week and continue to stay well, Terri! ❤

    1. Yes we are doing good thank God Cindy. How are you doing? The online mass is different but it is a good resource to have at least. It does not look like we will be able to attend Easter Mass or Holy Week events. We actually have four a girl and then three boys. It was an uplifting message having the sidewalk chalked! Yes we were starting to need the toilet paper so I did not feel guilty buying it! I thought this dress was a cute distraction from everything that’s going on now. I am sure you looked great in something similar to this when you were a teen! My mom had a quiet Mother’s Day this year but we were able to video chat with her and she is in good spirits. Wishing you a nice rest of your week also Cindy, stay safe,Terri ❤❤

      1. We are doing good, thanks for asking, Terri. I haven’t gone into a store or office for 12 days now–feels so odd. We are all staying home except for curbside grocery pick-ups and neighborhood walks.
