Dress of the week August 17th !

Good  morning  to  you  my  beautiful  followers  !  we  are over  halfway  through  August and  back to  school is  creeping  closer. the kids  are  looking  forward (for  the  most  part!!)  to going  back  and  a reunion  with  their  friends .

Our  daughter  is  at  an  age  where she is looking  for  a  new  wardrobe   for  back to  school   so  there  was  shopping  last night! It  is  nice  to  get  some  new  items  but  a  line  has  to  be  drawn  too! As  I  said  before  , I  would  love  to see  a  uniform introduced as  I wore  when  I  was  in  school.

Our  boys ( all  3 )  started  soccer  on Wednesday  night  for  the  fall. Our  youngest  Griffin was  playing  for  the  first  time  and  did  well  if  a  little  distracted.  The  older  two were  getting  back  to it  after  2  years  away .

They  are  looking  for  volunteers  and  I bit  my  tongue  and  offered  to  help (yikes!!)  They  have  a game  this  morning (each age  level)  so I  will  see if  they  need  me  to  help.

Our  washing  machine  gave up  the  ghost  on  Wednesday  and  we  are  using  the  laundromat  for  washing  and  taking  the  clothes home  for  drying .  We  bought  a  new  one  but  it  wont  be  delivered until Friday  coming.

The  rest of  the  weekend is shaping  up   to be  relaxing but  we  will see!

Please  rate out  of  10 this  vibrant  cotton  gingham check  banded empire  waist  dress . It has a  lot of  feminine  charm.  See here .

Have a  lovely  weekend everyone, hugs,  Terri xoxo.

  1. This dress is so lovely! Aw so glad they’re excited to go back. I also loved to get new clothes too, but know what you mean about a line being drawn. I hope they have a fabulous start. Sorry about your washer.

    1. Aww thank you for the approval on the dress Courtney it is hard to go wrong with pink and white gingham! This one reminds me of some from my childhood. (Eshakti again !) Yes school will be starting up pretty quick, with kids you always have to be taking care of the purse strings! The washing machine is a minor inconvenience, I have to be thankful for my blessings in all other areas. Our new one arrives on Friday! Thank you so much for visiting I hope your Monday is going really well, Terri xo.
