Good morning ladies , how is your weekend going. I want to start off by wishing all the Moms who follow me in the United States and Canada a happy Mothers day ! I know it is different in the U.K. and Ireland ( It is the 4th Sunday of Lent a tradition going way back celebrating Mary the mother of Jesus) So my Mom has already celebrated hers! All you Mom’s deserve a little pampering tomorrow.
Last weekend was taken up with softball and a tournament 20 miles away on Saturday and Sunday. Our Daughters team had mixed results but did enough to qualify for nationals coming up. It is 20 miles away in a different direction so no hotel stays, last year the 12u was in south Dakota! The Monday thru Friday was pretty routine . On Thursday our neighbor gave the two older boys a ride in his yellow convertible car! It actually is his Mom’s car that he borrowed, he listed his own car for sale and it sold in hours so he was without for a few days , and the boys were so happy to go in a sports car! Today is curbside clean up day where the city picks up unwanted household or garage items once a year. We start putting stuff out on Thursday for Saturday collection and then the people looking for scrap or just a good find circle around the neighborhoods in trucks and sometimes trailers attached looking for a piece of treasure. You know what they say One persons trash is another’s treasure!
I had so much fun with the customizable eshakti dresses last week I want to feature one again!! This week I have picked out the Georgette wrap large rose floral print dress with tie waist see here The model is wearing the short sleeve ready to buy dress below and the one I added sleeves to is the customizable one!

Happy Mother’s Day to youuuuu, Terri! You are such a phenomenal mom. Congratulations to your daughter for qualifying for nationals!! That is soo exciting. I bet the boys loved that ride in the convertible.. and yellow nonetheless!! Oohh I love this wrap dress! I have had issues with wrap dresses lately because they are too low cut, but this looks perfect! Thanks so much for sharing.

It feels good to spring clean and get rid of junk at this time of year, but as the saying goes, “One person’s trash is another’s treasure!” We still have a lot of work to do around our house, garage and garden. Will probably take us all summer.

Hi Carmen , there was some pampering ! There were flowers, cake, perfume and candy treats. We went to a restaurant that was on the bucket list for a while for dinner. We did get rid of a lot of stuff, and that saying is so true. I hope you get your projects completed smoothly! It is a pretty wrap dress , Mackenzie was commenting that she has had trouble with how low the neckline goes on some wrap dresses, it is nice to customize! The print is pretty, thanks for rating.
